Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors

This show follows a cast of 5 telling the a story of Dracula and the horrifying event that follow when he sets his eye on someone he wants to suck his teeth into.

I was the Stage Manager for this show at No Square Theatre in Laguna Beach. My job during rehearsal was to make reports, send out weekly and daily calls. As well as track: blocking, set movements, costume changes, and crew movements.

During the show I was also the lighting board op. I came in did a channel check and set lights to be ready to open. checked in the the director, who was also our artistic director and Front of house. The the back stage and green room/ dressing room for actors and crew to arrive. Once cast was on cite call the hour till top of show and 30 till house opened. I had to stay backstage to be able to communicate with cast and crew because we did not have a comm system. I regularly checked with front of house on the time line, and when ready I called placed headed to the booth and got ready to run the show.
